-your family goes on a picnic every sunday (and hides so they don't have to share food with anyone else and you sit on carpets on the grass)
-your parents try to hook you up with your cousins lol
-your freezer is filled with nothing but gosht and naan khushk
-you drink tea 24/7
-your parents call food basics.."basic food" and burger king..."king burger"
-your friends call and your parents make up the stupidest excuses...you're sleeping,..washroom...shower...eating...etc...meanwhile your sitting right beside them (thank god for cell phones)
-your parents want to call you they will say everyone of your 50 brothers and sisters names before they get to your name.
-your going shopping with your parents, and you see something you want your parents complain and say how when you go home they can make it for you.
-you spend so much money on a nice dining room table but you never eat on it
-you wear a t-shirt under a revealing dress at weddings
-you?re a 30 year old man and you go on afghan websites looking for a wife... we know you're out there!
-you kiss 3 times when u greet someone and ask how are you? 93824712893 times
-there?s more oil in the food than the actual food itself
-your mom, dad, uncle, or aunt just HAS TO stop off at every garage sale as you drive around on a saturday after buying gosht.
-your mom is overweight (you know it's true ahah)
-your every sentence starts with ?bachemmm?
-you eat dinner at 11pm at night
-you get house warming gifts you give them to some other afghan and it ends up getting passed around until it gets back to u (it has happened many times before..ahah)
-its time to leave at a wedding u steal the flowers off the table and one flower is just not enough?so ur parents force you to go grab them off other tables (lmao save some for the rest of us)
-the only song you play at a partry is "sitare-bal bali"
-you're forced to wear your older brothers suits after he's out grown them.
-you're forced to buy shoes two sizes larger so they can last
-you try and fit 5 kids in the back of a hatchback (one on top of the other
-You can't have a meal without bread.
-At weddings it takes the bride and groom 4 hours to kiss all the guests.
-You get sweard at with words that effect your father not you.
-You cook a meal that lasts 3 days.
-You're fat and blame it on the kids, or you're bald and blame it on the stress.
-Your spouse is also your first cousin.
-There is no such thing as quiet time
-Your family is over your house all the time - vise versa
-Your parents drink 6 cups of tea a day..
-You've had a shoe thrown at you by your mother
-Your relatives alone could populate a small city
-You have an endless supply of pistachios, almonds, and raisons
-Your parents say you're becoming Americanized anytime you get into trouble.
-You curse at your teachers or strangers in Afghan(mostly cause itz fun/funny).
-After a family meal, the women fight to the death over who should wash the dishes while
the men sit on their behinds and discuss politics, waiting for their tea.
-Your parents want you to become a doctor or engineer
-You use your forehead and eyebrows to point something out
-Your mother yells at the top of her lungs to call you to dinner even if you're in the next room....
-You have at least thirty cousins...
-You arrive one or two hours late to a party and think it's normal.
-You are standing next to the largest suitcases at the Airport.
-You talk for an hour at the front door when leaving someone's house
-You say bye 17 times on the phone
-When your parents meet strangers and talk for a few minutes, you discover they know one of your uncles
